Dig It! is a new programme of activities for children with ASD using gardening and nature conservation. After this taster session we will then run 6 after school/ holiday sessions for 5-11 year olds with a max of 6-8 participants in each along with a family member/carer.

These will be as follows:
5-11 year olds – Wednesday 4.30-5.45pm on the following dates
28 June, 5, 12 July, 2, 9, 16 Aug

The benefits of gardening and working with nature:
reduced stress, improved concentration, positive social interaction, communication and team working, better mental and physical health, help with fine and gross motor skills, developing creativity and self expression plus learning news skills and developing a sense of belonging. The new after school and holiday sessions will be led by Maria, a qualified horticultural therapist with experience of this group along with the support of a volunteer clinical child psychologist.

The taster session is free but there will be a small charge of £2 per session payable in advance to Signal – a total of £12 to enroll.
