Do you have DIY skills? Can you help us on Sunday 12th May?

Raising the roof on the outdoor kitchen. Sunday 12th May 10.30am-1.30pm. We need your help to repair the roof of our outdoor kitchen which got damaged in the winter so that we can run more outdoor cooking events this summer.

We also need to finish putting up the guttering for water harvesting on the outdoor kitchen. If you are handy with a drill, a good DIY person then please come and help and the more the merrier and you are welcome to bring the rest of your family to enjoy the Wilderness. We do have some tools but if you have a battery powered drill or a few screwdrivers then please bring them along.

Anyone that helps out for a few hours is welcome to join us for a community lunch at 1.30. But please let us know you are coming by booking via the Whats on page so we know the numbers of people to cater for.

The Big Dig Saturday 27th April

The Big Dig – a national event to take part in your local community garden.

Not just digging! Help out in our food growing garden and learn about organic gardening or take part in some nature conservation activities.

We will also be making a spiral herb garden for our outdoor kitchen. Fun for all the family and learn about herbs and how to use them.

All ages and families welcome.

Tea and coffee provided. Bring a packed lunch and wear outdoor clothing.

Try out community gardening, meet the team, explore our wild space and help your local community garden.

Drop in anytime. Last entry 2.30pm

We are open for you to explore and take part in some outdoor activities.

Bring a packed lunch and wear outdoor clothing.

Spring Clean Sat 6th April

Join us Saturday 6th 10.30-12.30 to help get rid of some of the litter and rubbish #GBSpringClean. Last entry 12.

As well as our regular volunteering on a Thursday afternoon, Friday morning and fortnightly on a Saturday morning we have lots of events coming up for all ages which you can now book via our Whats On Page.

Wild Helpers every Friday morning back outdoors

Grow, create and learn for all ages and abilities.

We are now outside at the Wild Cat Wilderness as the weather is better plus we have a polytunnel so can still work inside if the weather bad.

For this first session you can meet Simone at the Rushey Green Time Bank head office unit B Place/Ladywell at 9.30am and set off at 9.45 and take everyone to the Wilderness.
