Wild cooking and pickle making with Maria
£5 per child/adult payable by cash on the day
Make a simple lunch in our kitchen from ingredients from our garden or growing wild – vegetarian and vegan.
Ingredients provided and a demonstration.
Using the fruit and produce from our site, plus seasonal ingredients learn and make your own pickles with Maria to take home. All welcome but recommended age 4+. Bring your own drinks and a small clean jam jar for your pickles.
As a charity we welcome everyone to our wild community space (sorry no dogs aside assistance animals). All activities are free but some have a small fee to cover costs but donations towards our charity really welcome and there will be a cash collection tin on the day. Join in with your child/ren and meet other local people and families.
All children should be accompanied by an adult with up to x5 children per adult. Bring a packed lunch/ snacks and drinks. Please bring a phone to ring for entry. Make sure you dress for the outdoors and sessions will take place even if it rains (we generally only cancel if high winds or storms). Check the last entry time as latecomers won’t be admitted sorry. Places are limited and please only book if you can attend and let us know if you book and then can’t come by emailing wcw@rgtb.org.uk if you don’t turn up and don’t let us know this will affect future bookings with us. Entry from 15mins before start time unless otherwise stated.
By booking a place or attending you are giving us consent to take photographs and these might be used for publicity purposes and on social media by our charity. If you want to opt out please notify the person running the session on the day. Thanks
