This year we are pleased to be working with The Orchard Project, a charity that works in partnership with communities to plant, manage, restore and harvest orchards in urban areas. We are classified as a veteran orchard because of our many old trees.
Our first event of 2018 will be a wassail on Saturday 3rd Feb 2.30-6pm which is an ancient custom of visiting orchards and reciting incantations and singing to the trees to promote a good harvest for the coming year.
We will be making instruments, learning how to play a ukulele, having a procession and drinking mulled cider and apple juice plus eating campfire food. Please bring any instruments.
Please book your places below. All welcome.
Instrument making from 2.30pm.
Ukulele session 3.30pm
The wassail procession 4.15pm followed by food and drink.
Please book so we know numbers,
If you are planning to come along let us know in advance if possible so we can plan refreshments, etc.
Bookings are closed for this event.
