Wild Cat Wilderness

Everyone can grow food (even without a garden) and for free

Find out how to grow food in very small spaces, indoors in pots and growing for free.
A free workshop for Lewisham families including a vegan campfire soup – free soup for low income families or pay what you can afford. Suggested donation £4
Visit our food growing garden at the Wild Cat Wilderness and explore what we are growing (children are welcome to play). Then discover how you can start growing food for free or at a very small cost using recycled materials and things around the house. Collect seeds, create plants from cuttings to take home, grow from food scraps and forage for free food. This hands on workshop is run by Maria, the project coordinator at the Wild Cat Wilderness. Maria has been an organic food grower for over 30 years and is at her happiest in the garden or kitchen.

If you are planning to come along let us know in advance if possible so we can plan refreshments, etc.
