Make christmas cards and gift tags using natural and recycled materials from our community green space. This workshop is suitable for adults and children and will take place in our classroom (this is a covered space but open at the sides so wrap up warm). We will provide the materials and you can hunt around the site for things to add to your card or gift tag. This is a fundraiser for our Woodland for Wellbeing project and so the initial suggested donation is between £3-£5 which would allow you to make x3 cards and x3 gift tags per adult or child booked on. Additional materials will be available on the day at a low cost if you want to make any more. If you cant afford £3 then please pay what you can afford or get in touch wcw@rgtb.org.uk. Please note last entry is 12 and we cannot issue refunds.
Hot drinks will be available to buy on the day so please bring cash/ loose change.
Any money raised will go towards our ‘Woodland for Wellbeing’ project to provide support for adults and children to help recovery from mental health problems, and help prevent the development of mental health issues, by working with nature. In the light of the rise in mental health problems due to Covid we are looking at the local need and developing this ‘green prescriptions’ programme. We have been given permission to extend into the woodland area on our 5 acre site which hasn’t been touched for decades and are fundraising to support this work.
