Part of our Wild Adventures programme – a summer of outdoor fun
x8 events over the summer with activities including: campfire cooking, fruit picking, meet the bees, butterflies, den building and creative activities. Please check recommended age and book for all coming both adults and children.
Thursday 1st 10.30-1 August. Last entry 12pm
Come and pick blackberries (and plums if available). Help us pick our fruit for our jams and chutneys and take some home, plus eat as you pick. Explore and have your own wild adventures in our wild, safe space. All welcome. Please bring your own containers if you wish to take some fruit home. All we ask is you pick the same amount for us in a container we will provide. Bring snacks/packed lunch and drinks. All ages welcome
All children should be accompanied by an adult with up to x5 children per adult. Bring a phone to ring for entry and a packed lunch/ snacks and drinks. Make sure you dress for the outdoors as sessions will take place even if it rains (we generally only cancel if high winds or storms). Check the last entry time, as latecomers won’t be admitted sorry. Places are limited and please only book if you can attend and let us know if you book and then can’t come by emailing wcw@rgtb.org.uk if you don’t turn up and don’t let us know this will affect future bookings with us. Entry from 15mins before start time unless otherwise stated.
By booking a place or attending you are giving us consent to take photographs and these might be used for publicity purposes and on social media by our charity. If you want to opt out please notify the person running the session on the day. Thanks
If you are planning to come along let us know in advance if possible so we can plan refreshments, etc.
