Harvest Festival – a celebration of local food
Including apple picking, how to make chutneys , bread making on the camp fire, plus buy our jams, chutneys and local honey.
Followed by a community BBQ (pay what you can afford)

2-4pm Learn about nature – bees, bugs, birds and butterflies including mini beast hunt. All welcome
NOW POSTPONED NEW DATE TBC 6.30 -8.30pm Make your own natural beauty products (adult workshop). Make a natural scrub, bath fizz and lip balm. £10 contribution to costs. Places limited. Booking essential by Weds afternoon at the latest.

11am- 12.30 Introduction to mindfulness (adult workshop), £10 contribution to costs. Booking essential by Thursday afternoon at the latest.
1-4pm Volunteer day – finish loading up the skip plus pick blackberries and plums from around the wilderness so we can make jams and chutneys plus take some home. Bring your own containers.
11am – 1pm Camp fire cooking
Learn how to light a fire, different ways to cook on an open fire, make bread and cook your own lunch. Free but donation towards food.
11am – 6pm Open day and volunteering

The Big Lunch Picnic and Festival – NEW DATE
Sunday 24th July 12-4pm
We are pleased to announce that we are now running this fabulous event in July having postponed the original one due to bad weather. So defrost those sausage rolls and come along to celebrate at your wonderful local wilderness.
Just bring some picnic food to share – salads, snacks, tarts, pies, cakes, puddings etc.
If you want to BBQ food there will be a separate area available for this but you will need to cook it yourself.
Why not enter our bake off – one for adults and one for younger people just bake a cake or sweet item. Just email us if you want to enter wcw@rgtb.org – Do Mary proud.
Bring a picnic rug and a plastic bag so you can take any rubbish home. Working dogs only
Poetry, storytelling, music, games and activities for all ages. Lunch from 12.30 onwards – stay as long as you like. All welcome. Book online via the whats on page and specify how many tickets you want.
