Catford Arts Trail – open day plus ecoprinting, rust dyeing and an autumn forage
Sunday 12th October 11-3pm
As part of the wonderful Catford Arts Trail we are taking part just on the Sunday 11-3pm. You can just drop in anytime between 11-3 for the ecoprinting and rust dyeing but need to book for the foraging. Please note the foraging is only for adults. You are also welcome just to come and have a wander or play in our community green space and visit the garden and orchard.
Use the booking form to reserve your space for the autumn forage (adult only) which will take place at 12pm and will last at least an hour.
Liz Gill will be demonstrating and providing information about natural dyeing and will be demonstrating how to dye with rusty objects with Jane and Rafa. There will be a selection of naturally dyed items for sale plus other natural works of art on display and for sale.
Maria the Wild Cat Wilderness Project Coordinator will be leading the autumn foraging around the site at 12. Please note the forage is for adults only and you need to be on site by 11.45 to take part.
As a charity we welcome everyone to our wild community space (sorry no dogs aside assistance animals). All activities are free but donations towards our charity really welcome and there will be a cash collection tin on the day.
All children should be accompanied by an adult with up to x5 children per adult. Bring a packed lunch/ snacks and drinks. Please bring a phone to ring for entry. Make sure you dress for the outdoors and sessions will take place even if it rains (we generally only cancel if high winds or storms).
By booking a place or attending you are giving us consent to take photographs and these might be used for publicity purposes and on social media by our charity. If you want to opt out please notify the person running the session on the day. Thanks
