Fun in Nature – Seed bombs, tree planting & weed bashing!

Saturday 25th March 11am-1pm.

Come and join us for a morning of outdoor activities for all ages. Make clay seed bombs (bring an egg carton), plant a tree or help clear a new path using a weed basher (adults only)  – we will show you how don’t worry.

No experience necessary and all welcome. We have a toilet plus shelter but please dress appropriately in case its wet with sensible footwear.

Hot drinks available for sale but bring some lunch.

Nature conservation for all – Feb and March

Join us on Saturday 25th Feb 11-1pm and Thursday 9th, 16th, 30th March 12-3pm for some fresh air and nature conservation activities. All ages welcome. No skills necessary.

Wild Volunteering for All

All welcome no skills necessary. We will be sowing wild flowers, and clearing the area for the arrival of our bees.

Come along for a morning of activities on Weds 15th Feb 10.30-1pm including planting broad beans, seed swap, putting up bird feeders and nest boxes, build a stick fence around the pond. Bring your own lunch.

AGM celebration – all welcome

AGM celebration 

The charity Rushey Green Time Bank run the Wild Cat Wilderness as a project and we have our AGM and celebration event at 6-9pm pm on Friday 10th February (registration from 5.45pm) at Good Hope Café https://goodhopecafe.com. This is next to our new hub at PlaceLadywell, 261 Lewisham High Street, SE13 6NJ.  It’s an opportunity to hear about what has been going on and whats planned, network with friends, and of course enjoy food and drink. The Wild Cat Wilderness will have a stand and you can come and sow your own chilli plant or swap seeds.

We need helpers to set up from 4pm. Please also bring a cake or drink to share. For more information, pop in at Tea & Chat on Wednesday  2-4pm at PlaceLadywell, or let us know you are coming – email philippe@rgtb.org.uk

Pruning, woodchopping, create a mini pond or a path plus a camp fire stew.

Learn how to prune fruit trees, use an axe, bow saw or weed slasher or create a mini pond out of an old biscuit/sweet tin – so bring your Christmas tins along (metal or plastic).

A morning of volunteering 11- 1.30pm followed by a free vegetarian camp fire stew at 1.30pm (£4 for non volunteers).

Come and join in the first volunteer session  of 2017. All ages welcome and there is something everyone can get involved in. Come on your own or bring the family along to help get the Wild Cat Wilderness ready for the new year ahead.

The Lewisham Good Gym will be joining us from 11-12am.

Fun and fresh air in Catford. Don’t worry if its cold. Wrap up warm, we will keep you moving and the fire will be on.
