Winter wild – garden arts and crafts every Friday
We know that at this time of year the weather can often mean we can’t run outdoor volunteer sessions at the Wild Cat Wilderness, plus not everyone can get out when its cold and wet.
So you can get involved in our indoor volunteer sessions. Held at Place Ladywell, the offices of the Rushey Green Time Bank (at the back, next door to the Good Hope cafe), we will be making things for the Wild Cat Wilderness – plus you will might learn something new and also be able to take something home.
Running from 11.15-2.30pm drop in anytime (no later than 1.30pm) these sessions are open to all ages but places are limited – be sure to book in advance (but do let us know if you can’t then come)
Every week will be something different, all materials provided and no experience necessary.
This week we will paint some flower pots ready to sell and raise funds at our upcoming Wassail festival on Saturday 3rd Feb. We will be using acrylic paints and letting our imaginations run wild. We will also be spending some time updating you on the Community feedback day in case you can’t make it on the 20th Jan and asking for your feedback about the Winter Wild sessions and about our site at Wild Cat Wilderness. We would really like to know what you would like to see happening for the future.
If you are planning to come along let us know in advance if possible so we can plan refreshments, etc.
Bookings are closed for this event.
